Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 12, Verse 6

ये तु सर्वाणि कर्माणि मयि संन्यस्य मत्पराः । अनन्येनैव योगेन मां ध्यायन्त उपासते

ye tu sarvāṇi karmāṇi mayi saṃnyasya matparāḥ | ananyenaiva yogena māṃ dhyāyanta upāsate

Translation

But those who worship Me, renouncing all actions in Me, regarding Me Supreme, meditating on Me with exclusive devotion (yoga); for them whose thought is fixed on Me, I become ere long, O son of Pṛthā, the deliverer out of the ocean of the mortal saṃsāra.

Śaṅkarācārya's commentary

"Me" here means Īśvara, the Lord. "Exclusive" means having no other object of worship except Myself — God in the Universal Form. "Devotion" (Yoga) is samādhi or steadfastness of mind.
