अनुबन्धं क्षयं हिंसामनपेक्ष्य च पौरुषम् । मोहादारभ्यते कर्म यत्तत्तामसमुच्यते
anubandhaṃ kṣayaṃ hiṃsāmanapekṣya ca pauruṣam | mohādārabhyate karma yattattāmasamucyate
Translation
The action which is undertaken from delusion, without regarding the consequence, loss, injury, and ability, that is declared to be Tāmasic.

Loss: loss of power and of wealth accruing from the action done. Injury: to living beings. Ability: one's own ability to complete the work.
