Śaṅkarācārya's commentary
Dialogue: this work which is in the form of a dialogue. Of the four kinds of sacrifice (vidhi, japa, upāṃśu, mānasa), the jñāna-yajña or wisdom-sacrifice comes under the head of mānasa and is therefore the highest. Thus the Gītā-śāstra is extolled as a jñāna-yajña.
