यदा ते मोहकलिलं बुद्धिर्व्यतितरिष्यति । तदा गन्तासि निर्वेदं श्रोतव्यस्य श्रुतस्य च

yadā te mohakalilaṃ buddhirvyatitariṣyati | tadā gantāsi nirvedaṃ śrotavyasya śrutasya ca

Translation

When thy mind shall cross beyond the mire of delusion, then wilt thou attain to a disgust of what is yet to be heard and what has been heard.

When thy intellect (buddhi) shall cross the dense thicket of delusion (moha-kalila) — the confusion that takes the not-Self for the Self — then thou shalt attain disgust (nirveda) for everything you have heard or shall yet hear from the ritual portion of the Vedas, since you will see it as productive only of finite, transitory ends.
