Śaṅkarācārya's commentary

To the unsteady (ayuktasya) — to him who has not brought himself under the discipline of Yoga — there is no Self-knowledge (buddhi); without that, there is no power of bhāvanā or steady meditation; without meditation, there is no peace; and to the peaceless, where is happiness (sukha)? The chain runs in the reverse direction of 2.62–63: discipline → knowledge → meditation → peace → happiness.
