वसुदेवसुतं देवं कंसचाणूरमर्दनम् । देवकीपरमानन्दं कृष्णं वन्दे जगद्गुरुम् ॥ ५ ॥

vasudevasutaṃ devaṃ kaṃsacāṇūramardanam | devakīparamānandaṃ kṛṣṇaṃ vande jagadgurum || 5 ||

Translation

I bow to Kṛṣṇa, son of Vasudeva, the divine slayer of Kaṃsa and Cāṇūra, the supreme bliss of Devakī, the teacher of the world.
