अवाच्यवादांश्च बहून्वदिष्यन्ति तवाहिताः । निन्दन्तस्तव सामर्थ्यं ततो दुःखतरं नु किम्
avācyavādāṃśca bahūnvadiṣyanti tavāhitāḥ | nindantastava sāmarthyaṃ tato duḥkhataraṃ nu kim
Translation
Thy enemies, too, scorning thy power, will talk many abusive words. What is more painful than that?

Śaṅkarācārya's commentary
Enemies will deride your prowess — that valour which they once dreaded — and speak many words unfit to be uttered. There is no greater pain than this for the warrior who has staked his life on honour.
